WAWDex ("we", "us", "our") is a personal project that helps people track their visits to Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Points. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Account data — When you sign up, we store your email address and the username you choose. Your email is used only to send you a sign-in link and is never shared publicly.
Check-ins — When you log a visit to a Discovery Point we store the location name, the date of your visit, any photo you upload, and any notes you add.
Photos — Photos you upload are stored on Supabase Storage (a third-party service). They are accessible via public URL when your profile is set to public.
Follow relationships — If you follow another user, that relationship is stored so we can personalise your activity feed.
Usage data — We do not use third-party analytics. Supabase may log standard server access logs (IP address, request timestamps) for operational purposes.
Your profile is private by default. You can make it public from the profile settings page. When public:
Your email address is never shown publicly.
All data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the EU. Photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We do not store payment information — WAWDex is free.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can also make your profile private at any time from the profile settings page, which removes you from the leaderboard and activity feeds immediately.
For any privacy questions or data deletion requests, email nialljfallon@gmail.com.
